JAY HOLT, Community Health Educator

Jay Holt is the owner of Cutmasters Barbershop. Jay was the very first Community Health Educator with the Get it Done Initiative dating back to the Hoffman La Roche pilot study in late 2003. With Jay’s valuable commitment, Cut-Masters Barbershop was the venue for the roll-out of the Get it Done Initiative. The roll-out took place on February 7, 2005, marking that year's National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness & Information Day (NBHAAID). This event was featured in the internationally distributed Community Bulletin edited by the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (The HVTN sponsors international HIV vaccine studies sponsored by the National Institutes of Health/Division of AIDS).
