Black Men Latino Men Health Crisis, Inc.(BMLMHC) was founded
in 2001 by Don Bruner. BMLMHC, Inc. is a 501(c)[3]-not
for-profit Community-based HIV service delivery agency located
at 107 Liberty Pole Way- Rochester, New York 14604. BMLMHC opened
its first office in the City of Rochester, New York in January of
2004. BMLMHC was created to address the un-met HIV prevention needs
of heterosexual men and woman of color.
Since its inception BMLMHC has reached over 10,000 individuals
through its HIV/STD education, prevention, and outreach activities.
BMLMHC maintains ongoing collaboration efforts with local health
related agencies, including: AIDS Community Health Center, AIDS
Rochester, Inc. , the Black Leadership Commission on AIDS-Rochester
Affiliate, African American Health Task Force at the Finger Lakes
Health Systems Agency, Huther Doyle, the HIV Vaccine Trials Unit of
the University of Rochester Medical Center, the Men of Color Health
Awareness Project , Inc., Monroe County Department of Health, and
the New York State Department of Health.
