Bob is Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer
of Huther-Doyle substance abuse prevention and
treatment agency in Rochester, New York. Under Mr. Lebman ’s leadership,
Huther-Doyle served as the fiduciary sponsor for BMLMHC for several
years. Mr. Lebman has provided invaluable mentorship to BMLMHC’s
Executive Director. He began work with substance abuse
treatment in 1973, after serving four years in Afghanistan with the
Peace Corps and US Agency for International Development, and has directed in-patient,
residential and outpatient services. He has also served as
Livingston County Youth Bureau Director and Executive Director of
the Monroe County Youth Advocacy Project. Bob holds a M.A. in Public
Administration from The Pennsylvania State University and a B.A.
from Harpur College, Binghamton University. He is past Chair of the
Finger Lakes Regional Consortium of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse
Providers and the Rochester Area Task Force on AIDS/Ryan White Care
Network in the Finger Lakes. He serves on the Boards of: Finger
Lakes Health Systems Agency, Jewish Family Services, Monroe County
Community Services Board, New York State Association of Alcoholism
and Substance Abuse Providers, RecoveryNet and Rochester Area Task
Force on AIDS. Bob and his partner of 29 years, Carl, reside in
Fairport.
