BMLMHC is
committed to closing disparities in health care in African American
and Latino communities. Our hallmark programs such as The Get It
Done Initiative have been recognized around the world and make every
effort to put you in touch with existing community resources so that
you get the information you need WHEN YOU NEED IT. We won't judge
you and our staff will work with you and your family. We have
already provided access to health care information for hundreds of
men and women throughout the region. Please, no matter what your

HIV
Counseling & Testing - Primarily through the
Get it Done Initiative 63 individuals has received HIV Counseling
& Testing. During 2005 National HIV Testing Day (June 27,
2006) twenty-two individuals received HIV Counseling&
Testing via AIDS Rochester Mobile Unit in the adjacent lot outside
of Just Like Water Barbershop. During the 2006 National HIV
Testing Day, June 26, 2007 again one of the Get it Done shops will
be utilized for a testing site via mobile unit. MOCHA also offers
HIV Counseling& Testing. For dates and times please call (585)

Hepatitis A
& B Vaccination and Hepatitis C Screening
- Primarily through the Get it Done Initiative
and assisted by other MOCHA programs , nearly 75 individuals have
received Hepatitis A& B vaccination and Hepatitis C screening.
Monroe County Department of Health-Immunization is a major
partner administering vaccination shots on site at MOCHA. The
Hepatitis A&B vaccination and Hepatitis C screening is held
every third Tuesday of the month from 4:30PM-6:30PM at BMLMHC and
MOCHA location 107 Liberty Pole Way Rochester, New York 14604.
Incentives are provided to individuals taking Hepatitis A&B
vaccinations.
